A Rare Address, Between the Seine and Beaux-Arts

Quai Malaquais. One of Paris's most beautiful alignments, between the École des Beaux-Arts and the Institut de France, just steps from the Pont des Arts. You push open the carriage entrance, cross an old courtyard where ivy climbs sculpted stone balustrades, and ascend one floor. The city fades away. Only silence remains.

These 100 m² have been entirely redesigned by an architect, creating a unique dialogue between 17th-century Paris and contemporary design: massive oak beams left bare on the ceiling, light herringbone parquet, custom-designed woodwork and moldings, and veined marble from floor to ceiling in the bathrooms.

🌿 The Neighborhood

At the heart of the 6th arrondissement, the Paris that the world comes to discover. The galleries of Rue de Seine, the bouquinistes along the quay, the terraces of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Marché Buci, and the Jardin du Luxembourg are all within a ten-minute walk. A mirrored panel extends the perspective and doubles the light.

Nearby, the round black marble dining table and its signature chairs accommodate four guests under an openwork metal pendant light. In the morning, sunlight streams in through three windows.

Open to the living area, custom-designed: light marble countertop and backsplash veined with amber, ivory lacquered and solid ash fronts, rounded island with black leather stools. Siemens oven and microwave, induction hob, integrated hood, dishwasher, large-capacity refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender. Complete tableware, glassware, cutlery — everything is provided for entertaining.

🛏️ The Bedrooms — Sleeps 4

The master suite. Cream woodwork, backlit headboard, ribbed glass and blackened brass sconces, full dressing room with illuminated storage. Double bed (160 × 200 cm), hotel-grade bedding. A black steel workshop-style glass partition separates the bedroom from its bathroom — open it for light, close it for privacy. Retractable television, reading nooks, French window opening onto the courtyard and its ivy cascade.

The second bedroom. Also custom-designed, with a 140 × 200 cm bed, woodwork, indirect lighting, concealed wardrobes, bedside table, and television. Its en-suite bathroom is directly accessible from the bedroom. Complete autonomy for two couples or friends traveling together.

The master suite features a fully marbled bathroom: an island tub positioned facing the window, a walk-in shower with a rain showerhead, a double vanity carved from solid stone, matte black fixtures, round hanging mirrors, heated towel rail, and a separate WC.

The second bathroom features the same veined marble: a walk-in shower, a sculpted monobloc vanity, a large mirror, integrated storage, and a WC.

A separate guest WC, also fully clad in marble, completes the apartment.
